Offer your guests a tea from Aboca Museum’s refined collection. A fine wooden tea chest of premium infusions.

The cover is decorated with the image of Nasturtium (Nasturtium indicum) selected by Aboca Museum from the splendid pages of the Erucarum ortus, alimentum et paradoxa metamorphosis by Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717).

The history of botany and the spotlighting of its rarest and most precious aspects has always been a part of Aboca’s mission. Erucarum ortus, alimentum et paradoxa metamorphosis, which was printed in Amsterdam in the 1720s, contains one of the best-known studies of botany and entomology of the Age of Enlightenment. It owes its fame to the extraordinary artwork of Maria Sibylla Merian, a gifted painter and intrepid naturalist who overturned the conventions of the rigidly male world of the Dutch scientific community. Her conviction that every species should be painted in its natural environment led her to undertake an adventurous expedition to the forests of Suriname, to see for herself the metamorphosis of the caterpillars that populated the area.

The box is made up of 4 compartments, each containing six individually wrapped teas of different flavours:

Sedivitax, for a good night’s rest

- Finocarbo Plus, to promote the physiological elimination of intestinal gas

Fisiodepur, for detoxification

Digererbe, to help digestion.

All Aboca infusions contain 100% natural products. Every single bag is created using a patented closure system free from glues and metal staples which effectively preserves the aroma, efficacy and purity of the mix.

Brewing instructions:

One tea bag is enough to make one cup of herbal tea (approx. 100ml). Pour boiling water into a cup containing the tea bag and let it infuse for 5-7 minutes, making sure that the cup is covered so that the volatile elements of the infusion do not evaporate. To sweeten your tea, honey is recommended.
