Species: Ailanthus altissima. 

Commonly known as the Tree of Heaven, it is native to China but widespread in Europe. It has an erect stem and a branched crown with bright green oval leaves and clusters of yellow-green flowers.

Laura Bosio lives in Milan. She has written about this experience in Una scuola senza muri (Enrico Damiani Editore, 2019).
