Ebbe un successo strepitoso per l’attrattiva e il fascino delle 400 piante che venivano di mese in mese presentate e consigliate.

The Flower Garden was a very popular work; it was published in 1730 and reprinted a number of times. Its 400 attractive and fascinating plants that were presented and explained from month to month made it a resounding success.
The author was also keenly interested in fruit growing, and in 1732 he published a similar book entitled Twelve Months of Fruits.
