Aboca Museum is pleased to present a project developed in collaboration with Lebole Maison.

With the aim of promoting the ancient tradition of medicinal plants through historical sources such as precious herbals, pharmaceutical botany books, ancient mortars, ceramics, and glassware, Aboca Museum has developed a new project in collaboration with Lebole Maison: a line of necklaces reproducing illustrations from the herbals and florilegia of the Bibliotheca Antiqua.
The necklaces are made with flat printed capsules on tinplate, set in gold‑plated brass and natural stones. The flat capsules used are metal discs traditionally found at the top of the wire cage that holds champagne corks before bottling.
The jewelry is meticulously crafted and produced entirely in Italy.
Sales are exclusively reserved for the Aboca Museum bookshop.

Botanical images taken from the ancient herbal The Ladies’ Flower-Garden… by Jane Loudon (London, 1843), preserved in the Bibliotheca Antiqua of Aboca Museum in Sansepolcro.
