Plantae Selectae is one of the most beautiful herbaria of its time: important in its large scale, it reproduces plants and flowers, especially exotic ones, grown in the sumptuous gardens of London. The complex preparation of the magnificent tables, printed in decurie, took 23 years for the final publication (1750-1773). It is a work of great value and rarity.
